The Marble Mansion Day 3: Photo Spam

I woke up today and couldn’t believe my eyes. SUNSHINE! 😀 So a few of us celebrated by taking a short walk between workshops.

UPDATE: So after I posted this, everyone went to our second mandatory lecture of the day. We were told the guest speaker would be arriving soon, and the OC began reading an introduction of the Fulbright program’s history in Korea.

Just when we’d all started zoning out to this, however, the entire OC team leapt up screaming.

Turns out, the whole lecture thing was a farce and they had actually planned a make-up 4th of July party at the sports fields! We lit sparklers and various small fireworks, then just hung out playing badminton and other sports. It was a really wonderful evening and I was able to forge a couple new friendships during its course. 🙂

So preeeeeeeeeetty. (Mom asked if the semi-desolate fields was the town. “No, it’s the university.” “Ohhhhhh.”)
